The Flower of Love for Peranakans The interior design uses a red theme, inspired from elements of the traditional Baba Wedding ceremony and red peony. Peranakans believed that good things always come in pairs. Therefore the Baba Wedding ceremony epitomises romance and eternal love. The red peony also symbolises sweet romantic love as well as being considered to bring good luck, prosperity and fertility.
